It was with a very heavy heart yesterday, that I said goodbye to St Patrick’s Primary school. I will miss this school and every single person within it with every fibre of my being. Thanks for an amazing seven years. They will remain some of my fondest memories.🍀 @StPatsKilsyth
Yesterday, Primary 2 had a common word hunt around the class. Once they found them, they unscrambled the words on a worksheet. Just look at how much fun they had. 🔡 @StPatsKilsyth
Today, Primary 2 took their subtractions outside and practised using a number line. Nice to realise we can practise in more places than just our jotters. 🔢➖@StPatsKilsyth
Primary 2 made beautiful candles for All Souls Day. They wrote the name of someone who had died and we said a prayer for them. Look how much care they put in to them. 🙏 @StPatsKilsyth
Primary 2 are learning that if we switch round the addends in a sum, we still get the same answer. We also enjoyed some active fast finisher tasks, like snakes and ladders and filling out blank 100 number squares. 🔢➕@StPatsKilsyth
Primary 2 got in to the Halloween spirit this afternoon. We started off with some spooky yoga, then did a Halloween word search at the smart board, a scary maths worksheet and we created haunted ships and houses with Lego and stickle bricks. 🎃👻 @StPatsKilsyth
This afternoon, Primary 2 were learning all about COP26 and Pope Francis’ message in Laudato Sì. We then created posters for a competition that will be judged by the University of Glasgow. We are very excited. 🌎 @StPatsKilsyth
For the month of October, Primary 2 is making a special effort to pray the Rosary to Our Lady. Today, two of the children led the class in our prayers. 🙏 @StPatsKilsyth
