As the world’s third-largest energy consumer with a demand of about 5.4 million barrels of oil per day, India’s energy strategy is rooted in pragmatism, resilience, and fairness. India is both a structural growth engine and a long-term stabilizer of global oil markets. We will contribute ~25% of incremental global energy demand growth in future. We are navigating today’s volatile global energy landscape through a multi-dimensional approach that includes diversifying our crude import sources from 27 to 40 countries now, enhancing domestic production, developing alternative fuel sources, transition towards gas based economy and aiming to become a global refining hub by increasing our refining capacity to 310 MMTPA by 2028 & augmenting petrochemical capacity to be a US$ 300 billion industry by 2030. Even as the world was dealing with geopolitical difficulties India successfully navigated through the trilemma of energy availability, affordability & sustainability; and was the only major economy in the world to reduce fuel prices even as oil prices skyrocketed around the world. With 2.5 lakh sqkm open for exploration under OALP Round-10, and being close to discovering a Guyana-scale oilfield in the Andaman Sea, India is in the midst of one of the most ambitious plans to enhance the efforts to drill for more and further enhance hydrocarbons exploration in the country under the dynamic leadership of PM Sh @narendramodi Ji. हम आपने ग्राहकों को पहले भी सस्ती एलपीजी सिलेंडर देते रहे हैं, आगे भी देते रहेंगे। एलपीजी के लिए अंतरराष्टीय बेंचमार्क, सऊदी सीपी में 63% दाम बढ़े (जुलाई 2023 में $385/MT से फरवरी 2025 में $629/MT तक), जबकि इसी अवधि म��ं भारत में एलपीजी की कीमतों में 44% तक की कमी की गई। जिससे OMCs को पिछले साल ₹41,338 करोड़ का भारी नुकसान हुआ। अक्टूबर-2022 से अप्रैल-2025 के दौरान पड़ोसी देशों में एलपीजी के दाम 10%+ बढ़े, जबकि आज की इस वृद्धि के बाद भी भारत में लगभग 19% घटे हैं। आज ₹50 सिलेंडर की वृद्धि के बाद भी ₹1028 की लागत वाला 14.2 किग्रा. का LPG सिलेंडर उज्ज्वला लाभार्थियों को प्रति सिलेंडर ₹475 कम कर ₹553 में और आम उपभोक्ताओं को प्रति सिलेंडर ₹175 कम कर ₹853 में दिया जाएगा। इस वृद्धि से तेल कंपनियां अपनी अंडर-रिकवरी की भरपाई कर सकेंगी ताकि उपभोक्ताओं को किफायती ईंधन मिलता रहे। आज की इस वृद्धि की भी आने वाले दिनों में समीक्षा की जाएगी। @PetroleumMin @PIB_India @MIB_India @PTI_News @ANI @ians_india @ReutersAsia @business #LPG

जनता की गाढ़ी कमाई बचाना मोदी सरकार की प्राथमिकता है। सरकार के आज के फैसले के बाद भी ग्राहकों के लिए पेट्रोल-डीजल के दाम एक पैसे भी नहीं बढ़े हैं। PM @narendramodi जी ने पूर्व में (नवंबर-2021 व मई-2022) एक्साइज ड्यूटी घटाकर पेट्रोल-डीजल पर ₹13 और ₹16/लीटर घटाए हैं, OMCs ने अलग से 14 मार्च, 2024 को प्रति लीटर ₹2 घटाए हैं। भाजपा शासित राज्यों ने भी पेट्रोल-डीजल पर VAT घटाकर ग्राहकों को और अधिक फायदा दिया है। आज भी भाजपा शासित राज्यों की तुलना में क��ंग्रेस/सहयोगियों की राज्य सरकारें पेट्रोल पर प्रति लीटर ₹15+ तक की अधिक वसूली कर रही हैं। कांग्रेस सरकार ने दस वर्ष में यानि अप्रैल 2004 से मई 2014 तक पेट्रोल-डीजल पर प्रति लीटर क्रमशः 112% और 155% की वृद्धि की थी जबकि मोदी सरकार ने दस साल यानि मई 2014 से मार्च 2025 तक केवल 33% और 58% की वृद्धि की। कांग्रेस सरकार द्वारा लिए गए लगभग डेढ़ लाख करोड़ रूपए के आयल बांड्स का भुगतान मोदी सरकार ब्याज सहित कर रही है। बीते 3 व��्षों में पड़ोसी देशों में पेट्रोल-डीजल के दाम क्रमशः 58% व 107% तक बढ़े हैं लेकिन भारत में घटे हैं। यह संभव हुआ मोदी जी की दूरदर्शिता से। @PetroleumMin @PIB_India @MIB_India @PTI_News @ANI @ReutersAsia #Petrol #Diesel
