@sarajcox I said to my 20+ year old son and his girlfriend that I don’t understand pop stars names and how you say they. Who like they said, me, Duo Lips. So for evermore Dua Lipa is known as Duo Lips in our house.
@YorkshireAirAmb Helicopter (helipad), medic, life saving. How’s that for a start. But it’s the relief when you see that big yellow thing coming to land.
@davidvance I always thought protests/strikes etc are there to disrupt. If these protesters blocked one lane or allowed one lane to flow the disruption is there but people can still travel. At the moment these protesters are not helping their cause, just alienating themselves.
@ListerLawrence I remember filling the works van like this 30 years ago, you’d set it off and go into the shop to pay when it stopped. The good old days, not like now when your in the queue with a person buying their weekly shopping.
@Foxtrot_Cop Yeah I got one of them about 30 years ago. Foot down on the way home. Stopped by a WPC and her Sargent. The words, “you’re putting your life in danger, your passengers in danger and my life trying to f-ing stop you”. No ticket but forever remembered.
@PCGrouch Surely, the terminology should be, we are reviewing the incident and learning from the officers so in future the best and safest actions can be taken. And 5 officers have been praised for their actions in saving the life of the gentleman.
@CPJ_2021 @F1 Every sport has that one team that will be better than the rest and it’s up to the rest to catch them. Unless everyone uses the same standard car with no extras, that would be more exciting. And yes drive to survive was crap.
