@rickymidlands @AlanJLSmith I guess if you add in taxes for a company car (which need not be fancy and for many in sales necessary), taxes for certain employee benefits or expenses, employer NI at 13.8% which is in addition to gross salary, you’ll be pretty close even without high rate earners

I can't helping thinking there was a time when the BBC would have covered such a momentous occasion live (on BBC2 at least). But no: Strictly and Flog It! The restoration of #NotreDameDeParis is a monumental achievement for France, for Europe, and for Christendom. The bell tolls.
