Joint submission is for 10 years and with remand credit Durocher has about 4 years and 7 months left to serve. When asked why he pled guilty to manslaughter, Durocher said he did not want to receive a life sentence.

according to facts heard, after hearing his second trial was being called back, Clarke was observed smirking at Durocher’s granddaughter and told Durocher to watch his back.

On April 4, 2023 Ryan Clarke was struck and killed by a vehicle in the Northside parking lot.

Clarke had at one time been charged with the murder of Duricher’s son.

Reg Durocher’s scheduled trial at King’s Bench is not proceeding and instead he has entered a guilty plea to manslaughter.
