Just 10% of all rapes in the US are reported to the authorities. Of those that are reported, 2% are false accusations. That false reporting rate is THE SAME as occurs in other crimes. For real, just #BelieveSurvivors bc they're almost always telling the truth! #EndRapeCulture

An impt concept discussed in our trainings = physical spaces affect perceptions of safety. Easy things venues can do to make ppl feel safer: good lighting near restrooms, make it easy to find the exits and staff & rearrange furniture so no one feels "trapped” #MakingSpacesSafer
