@emycia7@VoyagersRevenge Max Dood experimented with it and it seems like you just need to shot up close when the enemy is really near death.
That's why it's easier to do with the shotgun or requiem for example
@nostalgicrealms I feel that some people want to be "artists" and some people "producers"... in a very simplistic interpretation of it all.
For some, as Ryu would say "The fight is all". For others: if they had infinite cash, they would hire a team and never touch any of the art/music
@nuhre_ All in all this seems to be closer to a Action RPG than really a full blown RPG.
I don't expect much story, dialogue and as far as I know, there won't be any choices, stats or other traditional rpg thingies.
@professorbent0n@bloomjpg I think it wasn't really the entire "VFX Team" or "VFX Effects" in a way, he seems to be talking very specifically about simulations he needed run.
So good chance it was ultimately a matter of "iterations" he could sort of control.
@citizenofonline @Nithya_Shrii I feel we may end up with a halfway point:
People will interact less with other humans, and interact more with chatgpt and whatnot
but they will also want to consume less AI generated content
@deadidlegames Here is the rest of the review that for whatever reason, OP didn't felt like sharing.
Pretty sure this person was just being nice and cushioning their negative perceptions as nice as possible. "it's a me problem", "maybe it's just me".
@RowingRow@reduzio@Repiteo I'll have to admit, I have some issues about jumping in Godot because of discussions like these. It always seem that every simple request becomes such a giant back and forth that nullifies itself.
The "pixel perfect" debate for Godot 4 followed the same path
@RottenTomatoes It's interesting how they don't talk about Ed Harris and the Man in Black from Westworld...
Because I think "The Ghoul" do echo a lot of that character.
@DadGoneDigital@WolfCyphr Sure, but at least me for, this style of visuals is really off-putting.
Not because of "graphics" in the technical-aspect, but because of aesthetics and design choice.
And that's fair, right? :)
@undoodle_art I mean, it makes ME happy to still see World Builders around, it's something I deep miss in many New Games and Movies.
The sense that a fellow human, sat on their ass for hours and hours figuring out how this fantastic world exists.
@coolsl4w@maximilian_ I think Max, unlike and many of us here. Lead a pretty active life, he plays his games, hangs out with his friends and wife/kid.
We, on the other hand, are watching streamers, engaging into endless online debates, reading wikis and much much more.
