It's 1947 and the world is still reeling from the effects of WWII. However, for these mystery women, this is no time to relax.
A movie star turned crimefighter - The Cat faces off against unseen enemies in Monaco who seem hell-bent to prevent a movie about a WWII hero from ever being made and an old enemy makes a reappearance.
Black Venus, a famous aviatrix, uses her skills to unravel the disappearance of veterans around the country. The search leads from the streets of Washington D.C. to the jungles of French Guiana.
Miss Espionage returns to a divided Vienna to face off against the one spy even her mother, Mata Hari, couldn't best - Fraulein Doktor.
hree stories, three women, and an unseen web that binds them together to face an even greater threat in this homage to the Golden Age of Comics.

@delisaGross Congratulations on getting an agent. I hope Kayla and you have a very prosperous association and looking forward to seeing when your books come out.
Looking forward to attending @StationUnity next weekend. Just got my table number - you can find me there at I9, right across from the celebrity autograph tables. First time doing this show - looking forward to the experience.
@talishammas I keep telling people this is why real agents seldom approach people directly. All you have to do is whisper in an empty room, "I am an agent", and 40 emails will appear in your inbox minutes later. It's like writers are psychically wired to know when an agent is open to queries.
Gotta be honest.
This is your own reputation you're putting out there. Now, while people can disagree over themes or styles, if the book has errors, plot holes, etc. and you say it's "good", not only will people question your judgement, but they'll begin to think that what they could expect from your own work.
So, if you can't rate a book honestly, just don't rate it.
Happiness can be so beautiful it ends up being cruel. An unwanted reminder of how life would have turned out if we hadn’t worshiped our flaws. 🪽 👁️ 🪽

Since I'm in the middle of edits for "On Wings of Glass", I figure I should promote where it all began.
Ever since she was a little girl, all Erica could dream about was flying with the Angels of Steel, soaring over Southwatch with those fantastic mechanical wings.
However, on one of her early missions, a body tumbles out of the sky right in front of her. Accused of the murder of an ambassador's daughter, it's up to Erica and her friends to find out why everyone's pointing fingers (or worse) at her before this Angel gets her wings clipped . . . permanently.
On Wings of Steel is available in paperback and ebook at all the usual places.

@NoaLovelle Yeah, I started blending two novellas together to make them into a novel, and trimmed out the things that didn't work together - wound up getting a whole short story out of the excess. Win-win.
Hey writerly friends, could use some help getting my YouTube channel off the ground! If you're into chill songs about depressing stuff, I totally got you covered.
If, however, you like to keep things light and upbeat ... Yeah, I got nothin for ya.

And they immediately DM'ed me when I specifically request no DMs which makes me believe this is a bot account - @chamomeriam
The actual website for Miriam Cortinovis (https://t.co/FZRjUBdgyB) doesn't even list an X/Twitter account, FWIW.
Folks, be careful about people spoofing agent accounts. Just got followed by an "agent" who's info shows that they're posting out of Nigeria.
Spend a few minutes to see who's actually following you here.
Just about finished with the initial draft of the unnamed project's story bible. The next phase is to be sure to go through the original source material again to ensure I haven't contradicted stuff (even though its a soft reboot, no sense annoying old fans).
After that, I need to go through through the publisher's notes to make sure I've incorporated their ideas as much as I can or come up with strong arguments as to why my ideas work better with the corpus of the document than their initial thoughts.
It's always a balancing game when that happens, but I didn't spend 25 years as a tech writer without learning how to "guide" a client to make them think these changes are really their ideas just packaged in a more palatable format. However, if they really insist that their way is the only way, I fall back on the old tech writer motto of "Toyota".
You asked for it, you got it.
