This groundbreaking trial demonstrates the importance of Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement in research, achieved by working closely with Black community leaders and organisations as part of our commitment to ensuring meaningful participation in research.
The first men have been tested in the TRANSFORM trial, a landmark prostate cancer screening trial funded in partnership between NIHR and @ProstateUK.
The study is aiming to find the best tests to screen men for what is the most common cancer in the UK.
