I bought a new Garmin and saw this old post from @NickBareFitness somewhere.
He has hit the “run without a smart watch” phase.
One day I will meet him on this side too.
@NocturnalNelly Started doing this since last 1 year - RHR Improved, 10km pr ✅, didnt lose muscle mass, endurance improved, started to love running and started a small community of runners where I ask them to do only this
@ChintanDoshi_ I have told them I am unemployed and yet they keep calling me. alag torture hai. baar baar thodi bolu unemployed hu. mujhe bhi bura lagta hai na
Three years back I said no more shoes for running. Full Luna mode. Now I’m back in shoes, but only for one reason.
New targets always get shoes. I’m doing my first half marathon, so tempos and long runs = shoes. Easy days still Luna.
Did a 10k in 55 min in Lunas last month. Calves were dead for 3 days after. I’m a strength coach. I can’t be walking like that for 3 days just because of footwear.
But one thing’s for sure , they teach you form, and that’s a lifelong lesson.
Barefoot shoes are great. But they should be reserved for their seperate days.
To all the HRs and hiring managers on my feed.
Do you still ask, “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” in interviews?
Does it still make sense to ask this with everything happening with AI?
Do you have the answer to that question yourself?
Be honest. Either you’re asking a question that’s gone stale, or you’ve stopped evolving.
@rajmichaelsfit Disagree. If the phone scrolling is because of 3 mins rest between your compound or heavy lifts you are doing a great workout and the half assed 45 min workout.
@mumbaiheritage We have reached a stage where we are comparing cities and their festivals now.
This is exactly the kind of divisive topics we need to stay away from but then Internet, engagement and reach
@PriyankaLahiri_ Also it is a shame to ask someone for free advice in the age of AI. Run your plan through it try to understand it and if it is still not making sense message the experts.
