Russia has designated me as a “terrorist” for refusing its demands for mass surveillance and censorship on Telegram.
Under Russian law, I’m banned from “publishing information on the Internet” 😌
Russian officials are clearly confused about who can ban whom from the Internet 😉
AI agents can talk to anyone. they still can't prove anything. every deal stops at 'trust me'.
we've been fixing that: claims proved on a phone in 11 seconds, nothing revealed. a real business is starting to consume them.

I'm scrolling X looking for something exciting to play with. But despite being open to try new things, nothing really lands..
Stablecoin adoption is great. But what am I supposed to do with it? Earning yield already.
And signed up for like 10 crypto cards already. Another card needs to be 3x better now.
RWAs trading is good but not what makes a DeFi degen salivate.
Today's most exciting thing was Rabby's new Convert Dust feature. Fun to touch wallets again.
Last bear market we had Hamster Racing. Can we do some more degen stuff again?
The appeal of the dashboard trap is obvious: you have more information at your fingertips than ever before, displayed exactly the way you want it. That feels like an edge. The problem is that more information doesn’t make the prioritisation problem easier at all. And most people simply don’t have the framework to classify what actually matters versus what’s just noise with good visual design. They’ve solved the delivery problem while completely ignoring the discernment problem.
A system should be as simple as possible to use, but as complex as necessary to retain value. If a unit of complexity doesn’t drive a disproportionately valuable insight, output, or decision, cut it. Every added layer, rule, or feature must pay rent in the form of marginal utility. You optimize for net information efficiency.
A common question I’ve heard in Seoul is: what makes Hyperliquid special? I haven't found a way to distill it all into a sentence, but one reason that stood out to me the past few days is the culture of dreaming big and executing, while staying true to the original ethos of defi: integrity, fairness, and transparency. The work is hard, and there are many crucial components to be built. But that’s the beauty of the Hyperliquid community. Builders rise to the challenge and push the frontier of what is possible. I’ve never been more excited to continue building alongside everyone.
Since beginning work on Hyperliquid a few years ago, this was my first time traveling to meet so many community members, and also my first time in Korea. Thank you to @hlh_build organizers @hyperpc_ and @B__Harvest for an incredible hackathon, to @christyhwchoi for the thoughtful fireside chat at KBW, and to @SKYGG_Official/@hypurrcorea, @hypurr_co, and @Hyperliquid_KR for tonight’s community event.
Most of all, thank you to the builders, traders, and community members who give Hyperliquid its soul. I’m blown away by the hospitality, energy, and talent growing every day. There’s a long journey ahead to house all of finance, but it’s good to appreciate how far we’ve come together.
Prediction markets let you bet on outcomes, but so much more is possible.
This paper introduces Multiverse Finance, which splits the financial system into parallel universes so you can short the market today, but only if your candidate is going to lose the next election.

The markets are slow at the moment, so here's just some random thoughts about freedom, travel and solitude that I wrote on a flight a while back.
Maybe someone likes to read this stuff, idk.
I think for all of my life I’ve dreamt about being independent, working for myself, and just don’t have a fixed schedule.
To get out of the hamster wheel and not live a life like most of the people I saw around me.
Almost 15 years ago I had this plan about living solely from odds betting.
I created a user on over 60 different bookies to get a deposit bonus and to get the best possible odds at all times.
I created a “system” that worked well with low stakes, but it was impossible to scale due to bookmaker limitations.
Anyway, this kind of “work” made me believe that there had to be an alternative path out there instead of working the classic 9-5.
Freedom
There are days when I just want to escape from everything, just leave my country and start all over again somewhere else.
I don’t know where this feeling is coming from, because I feel that I am happy and content with where I am. But there is something freeing about just going somewhere new, knowing no one, and just vibing.
It’s not that I’m looking to get to know a lot of new people. I already have some quality friends. Actually, I’m perfectly fine with traveling alone, and most often that’s what I prefer.
Because then I can meet people when I want to, and spend time in my own company the rest of the time.
Maybe you’ve heard about solitude, but if not, it means being alone (but in a positive tone). It’s not the same as lonely which is the uncomfortable state of being alone.
I’ve pondered a lot of why I am this way. I mean, why do I prefer staying alone most of the time? Obviously, I am an introvert, but I don’t have any trouble being in social settings.
I think one reason is that I always have huge to-do lists with tasks I want to fulfill within a certain day. I am ambitious but in my own way.
I have goals for all aspects of life. For health, wealth, lifestyle, travel, romance, etc. For a long time, I used to track it all through an old blog I had (before I started Twitter in 2019).
Travel
Anyway, traveling is something I really enjoy. I don’t do anything special when I’m out traveling. I don’t go and see tourist things anymore, maybe if it’s a hidden gem without tourists. But maybe not even then do I have the interest of seeing these things.
There’s a quote that I like that goes something along the line of:
“A tourist sees what he has planned. A traveler sees what he sees”.
I think it’s beautiful because if you let life happen to you instead of planning everything you may be able to actually experience magical moments.
Ask yourself this: how memorable was that visit to Coloseum in Rome when you had to stand 3 hours in line just to get in at the venue flooded with tourists with selfie sticks? How genuine did it feel?
And that selfie you took with your gf where you can see tourists in the background? Magical, right? Instead, you could experience the most beautiful things if you avoid the tourist traps and go where the locals go.
One of my best experiences is when I discovered Catella Sant’Elia outside of Bagheria (a small town next to Palermo). I had zero expectations, but it ended up being one of my best ever (picture below).
Zero tourists, stunning view of the crystal clear sea, colorful buildings. Reminds me of Cinque Terre (just without the tourists).
Another great memory is when I skipped shopping with my uncle at a vacation and instead ended up strolling in the streets by myself.
I ended up meeting the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen, and which I spent the next 24 hours with. It was as magical as “Before Sunrise” if you’ve ever seen that movie.
I haven’t seen her again as we live way too far from each other, but the experience is stored in my memory forever. Actually, I am okay with that. Some experiences aren’t meant to last, but they can still be great.
This post is just filled with random thoughts, and to be honest, I miss just writing freely without a certain agenda or with the pressure of coming to a conclusion (tbh, there is no pressure...but I somehow need to make stuff semi-relevant for my audience).
Haven’t posted this personally in a while and this is something that I want to get back to.
After all, my point in searching for financial freedom in the first place was so I could just spend my days thinking, reading, and writing.
As Nassim Taleb would call it: a Flâneur
As a side-note, definitely recommend people to read Taleb's Incerto-series (5 books). Will help you out in trading, game theory, and thinking in bets.
Other books that might make you smarter about the market (some cliche titles, but they're good):
-Market Wizards
-Thinking Fast & Slow
-The Art Of Thinking Clearly
-Your Money And Your Brain
-Why Smart People Make Big Money Mistakes
-Psychology Of Money
Since you're first here, mentioning my 5 fav books of all time too:
1. Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance
2. South Of The Border, West Of The Sun
3. Tao Te Ching
4. Walden
5. The Book Of Disquiet
Life Beyond Trading
Every trader reaches a moment when they have to ask themselves: What am I really chasing?
At first, the answer seems obvious: freedom. The ability to live life on your terms, to escape the grind, to never stress about money again. But somewhere along the way, the goal shifts. The number you once dreamed of no longer feels enough. The game becomes bigger, the targets move further, and before you realize it, you’re no longer playing for freedom. You’re just playing.
And that’s where the trap is set.
The Cycle That Never Ends
The life of a trader, if left unchecked, is a slow erosion of time and self. Days blend together in a loop of charts, wallets, Twitter feeds, and refresh buttons. Every flicker of price movement triggers either a dopamine hit or a spiral of regret. And because the goal is always more, no decision ever feels right.
Why did I sell? Why didn’t I sell? Why didn’t I buy? Why did I buy?
Your wins feel fleeting, your losses linger, and even when you finally get what you wanted, you’re already thinking about the next move. The screen dictates your emotions, your pace, your sense of self. And worst of all? The rest of the world keeps moving without you.
You tell yourself you’ll start living once you hit a certain number. But that number is a mirage, it keeps shifting further into the distance, keeping you locked in pursuit of something you were never meant to catch.
And that’s the saddest part. Not the stress, not the addiction, not the sleepless nights...t's the waste. The waste of time, of health, of moments you can never get back.
You Already Won—So Why Are You Still Playing?
There is a point where enough should be enough. And let me tell you: the first time you feel true financial freedom is one of the most profound moments in life. The first time you realize you don’t have to check your bank balance before booking a flight. The first time you order food without looking at the prices. The first time you realize money no longer controls you. That is the victory.
Everything beyond that? Marginal gains.
Numbers on a screen that do nothing but pull you deeper into a game that was only supposed to be a means to an end.
And this is coming from someone who has seen real wealth. The upside isn’t worth it, not if it comes at the cost of the very things that make life worth living. Love. Friendships. Adventure. The feeling of standing in a place you’ve never been before, hearing a song that moves you, laughing with friends, cuddling your wifey.
You don’t need more. You need to live.
The Thought That Changed Everything
One day, while meditating, I had a thought that changed my entire perspective on life:
What if, in another realm, I paid an unimaginable price just for the chance to experience life on Earth?
What if, in that other world, I couldn’t feel life the way we do here? No taste, no touch, no love, no pain....just existence, cold and weightless. What if I had given up everything just to come here, to know what it’s like to wake up to a blue sky, to hear laughter, to run, to love, to be human?
And then I imagined dying, returning to that other world, and realizing....I wasted it.
I spent my one shot glued to screens, chasing numbers, refreshing pages, living for a game that never gave me anything real in return.
That thought changed everything for me.
I hope it does for you too.
Hit your freedom number, then go live.
