Dear Sachin, I knew your father very well. He was a man of principles. He would have spoken directly against this injustice and stood up to powers that be.
As tensions remained high at Jantar Mantar following the clashes, one small act of kindness stood out. Ajeet, a bhel puri vendor who works near the protest site told MOJO Story he served free Bhel Puri to many protesters after internet services were disrupted, making digital payments difficult. Recalling the previous day's violence, he said he saw people who had been beaten and were visibly distressed. Moved by their condition, he decided to feed them without charging, saying he wanted to help those facing hardship during the protests.
Who Did It Better?
After Satluj released, many viewers drew parallels between Honey Trehan's interrogation sequence and Quentin Tarantino's unforgettable tavern scene in Inglourious Basterds.
Both rely on sharp dialogue, subtle expressions, and silence that says more than words ever could.
Was it a tribute, an inspiration, or just two filmmakers using the same storytelling language?
Who did it better? Honey Trehan or Quentin Tarantino? Comment below!
Just saw SATLUJ and it is not a film , but a deep wound that will never heal. It stirs up the sludge in one of the darkest chapters of our history
This is cinema used as confrontation , where @diljitdosanjh acts with a quiet fury with no chest thumping heroism.. His only weapons are a ledger and a conscience. @rampalarjun adds layers of moral rot in the institutional complicity that feels chillingly realistic
Director @honeytrehan instead of sensationalising the horror unfolds the film like a slow burn investigative thriller through bureaucratic files, cremation records, and hushed conversations
This restraint makes the brutality of the subject matter hit that much harder because it explodes with the force of truth and not exploitation.
The philosophical core of the film about how a democracy devours its own citizens and then tries to erase the evidence is explored without any preachiness and that’s no normal
achievement .
The various issues surrounding its exhibition and publication prove that any art which makes the powerful uncomfortable has done its job, and that is the true purpose of true art , which SATLUJ is .
It is highly courageous essential filmmaking because it unsettles, educates, and lingers . In the times where main stream chases spectacle and popcorn cinema , SUTLEJ shoots out a hard reminder of what cinematic medium can truly achieve when it takes on truth and honesty
SATLUJ is a film that has to be seen , shown, discussed, debated and not ENCOUNTERED like the victims in the film
My appeal to all the powers is , please don’t do to SATLUJ what has been done to JASWANT SINGH KALRA 🙏🙏🙏
TRUTH HITS HARDER when one tries to HIDE IT .

15% of Mumbai's new 130-acre Coastal Road seafront will have ticketed attractions. Why should a corporation profit from public space created with public money? https://t.co/40zbIwmS1o
Lack of judgment, delegating instinct, working in remakes and franchises, and blaming some fictional absence of "fantastic" writers and directors. This interview is historic for it's absurdity.
Welcome to Mumbai’s newest flyover worth ₹248 crore. At 750 metres of road, that’s ₹33 lakh a metre.
And it opened this week full of potholes.
The flyover is named after the iconic Mrinal Tai Gore, who spent her whole life fighting so ordinary Mumbaikars got a life of dignity.
After seven years, three cost revisions, and a daily penalty on the contractor - this is all they could come up with to honour her?
But kya karein. This is the standard now under the triple-engine sarkar. Cut the ribbon. Click the photo. Leave the potholes for us. Bajao taali.
Whenever you’re booking a flight to Navi Mumbai Airport, please add ₹2000 to your ticket price, to account for the cab.
What a mess! Insanely expensive cabs, even if you try to book Uber Go thinking it’s slightly cheap, they’re not available & wait time is 45 minutes+ 🫡
«No siento ningún ambiente mundialero.
Entonces Leone dijo:

They gang-raped a Palestinian so brutally he was hospitalised. They did it on camera. When footage leaked, and the rapists were arrested, Israelis rioted to protect them. They said they had the right to rape. The Israeli lawyer who leaked the footage was arrested. This is Israel.
