@BBCPolitics They really are about as useless as a chocolate teapot and chocolate teacups! The only difference is that the chocolate would at least taste nice! How did they come up with the bright ideas to look at initiatives that put safety at risk?
@BorisJohnson Where do I start? 25% of the cabinet are women. Employment data shows women in lower paid jobs than they are skilled for. Women were expected to pick up caring and schooling roles and work during the pandemic and were not furloughed or eligible for support......
@BorisJohnson@ZelenskyyUa So help the women, children and elderly get to their families in the UK. If you won't relax biometric visa requirements, then ensure the biometric equipment is available. You did it with weapons, so can do it with equipment easier to transport to get people to safety!
@johnredwood We get the majority of UK oil from the USA and Norway I think. Don't twist horrific circumstances to justify the lack of investment into alternative energy sources. The dynamo was invented in the 1830s and yet 200 years on we have not progressed storing energy that is created!
@MattHancock My mum was a calm and loving person. She changed when she got dementia. Fearful, aggressive, paranoid. Circumstances in Russia may have changed beyond recognition of over the last 21 years and maybe health has too.
@10DowningStreet I stand with Russian and Ukrainian civilians. This is not a war of the people. It is not a time to give up on talking, even when it may seem lost. It breaks my heart that decisions made by politicians ultimately impact our babies and children most.
@MattHancock I found your piece interesting. You certainly seemed to enjoy a lot more liberty than most of us!!! Many still do not have freedom now. At the very least show consideration and respect for those that are vulnerable and still at a higher risk.
@10DowningStreet@Ukraine I stand with the civilians of Russia and the Ukraine. I stand with the children who will lose their lives or their mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters. Never give up on seeking a democratic solution. The leaders have brought about this conflict, not the people!
@BorisJohnson Protocols are in place for other diseases that are a risk to the public. Covid still causes illness and death. Symptoms such as dizziness or fainting pose a risk to safety. Sensible protocols are needed to ensure safety and ensure the vulnerable are not discriminated against.
@MattHancock@CEN_HQ It may have helped if the Conservatives had thought of that before initiating schemes for the large scale destruction of Grade A agricultural land to build houses. We need sustainable and innovative programmes that provide housing requirements without destroying nature.
@BorisJohnson To ease restrictions as booster immunity wanes in the elderly (45% after 10 weeks) is a dangerous gamble. This popularity stunt could lead to more lives lost. You seem to have difficulty understanding your own rules but also consequences, risk and accountability!
@SkyNews@BorisJohnson I can forgive a person for mistakes. To lie and then to claim the rules weren't understood is ridiculous, especially as the PM who set the rules. My 4 year old understood the rules. Is it arrogance, insolence or stupidity? None are endearing qualities in a leader.
@liambarker This is why people die. Egos & attitudes. Paramedics accepted my view my brother was deteriorating. Dr didn’t, declares brother drunk. I knew my brother was not drunk, so did paramedics, we fought to get him taken in. Sepsis!! 3 months intensive care. Respect each other more.
@Jeremy_Hunt We must first reach out to China. You assume threat, but fear is usually the biggest driver of aggressive or resistant behaviour. We are not a democracy. The government is changing laws without backing by the people. They are about to change planning laws never agreed to!!!!!
@mrmikecowan Mine took 9 days and 5 days. This is only a few weeks ago. The second test came back at the same time as the first! Not consistent enough. If they have genuinely improved that is fantastic. The service needed considerable improvement.
@RishiSunak@OfficialHARIBO What about all of the micro businesses? You have failed to support and expressed your distain micro directors as they take min salary to help their company grow? We have no support but also need to ensure we can fulfil NHS contracts. Why do you dislike micro businesses so much?
Why are we developing a track and trace app when others exist? Should we not pick an app which the public will be happy to use. Consultation and engagement is key. #bbcqt
