@WalterBlake1@AnnMB48@MrRJNKNS@ecp408 The largest inauguration crowd thing was debunked tho, just something Sean Spicer pulled out of his ass. He even made a statement in 2018 saying he regretted making that claim.
@Queen_BOfficial @pandaescarlate @brokebackstan Red white and royal blue on Amazon prime! The second is Heartstopper on netflix, the last is Love Simon (not sure where itโs streaming off the top of my head)
@CR72411 @DaniNMills@mattxiv Even German pride in the right context is totally acceptable and widely participated in. Examples: Oktoberfest, celebrating German foods, music and artโฆ but yeah if someone walked around aggressively โGerman and proudโ there could be some initial ramifications
@SamHkt3 @MellieDarcy If itโs a small amount like bacon grease, I line the drain with aluminum foil to make a cup shape. Pour it in, let it solidify, and then it๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝs a nice lil package to throw away or save! I also save soup cans to use for hot grease disposal sometimes
@Zakai9Nine@TheChristineL Once I let a guy in college connect to my Bluetooth speaker and he looked at me deadpan and said โI could hack you now and know everything about youโ. He was a good guy although a touch socially inept freshman year so I was safe but Iโve always wondered if he really could have
anyone else address their pets as sir/maโam but not as in a term of respect but more like, a buffet employee frantically trying to stop a customer from grabbing food with their bare hands?
@ch4christian @sagedtriz @TovahLviyah I think the point is that everyone that wasnโt allied with Germany cut them off financially-giving the nazis a means to financially navigate through Europe is arguably not neutral. And the main point of my tweet specifically was to help non English people understand the phrasing.
@sagedtriz Yeah pretty much! Thereโs a couple examples in the rest of the thread (although it is the internet, no guarantees any are 100% true). The main post was that they set up private banking for nazis when the rest of the world cut them off financially
@sagedtriz Basically they tried to look neutral but were helping the nazis in a more secretive way (I would use the term under the table but thatโs another saying lol). Mostly it was so they could financially gain from helping both sides during a war
@sagedtriz @TovahLviyah Saying โIโm Switzerlandโ in an argument is a common saying in the US which means Iโm neutral on this subject, donโt make me pick sides. This references how Switz. tends to not take sides in wars like WW2. The poster was pointing out that Switz. was NOT really neutral in WW2
