@MitchManners@BruceMcCurdy Since salary cap matters in a tight salary cap league, this is an oilers fan argument to poke fun at AM34 and not intended to be taken serious:
Factoring goals/million of cap hit
- Hyman has 9.82 goals/million
- AM34 has scored 5.93 goals/million.

@hubyszn@OilerAlert Of your last 20 tweets and retweets 12 of them are about the Oilers.
Edmonton lives rent free in your head cause your own sad franchise can’t do anything and your entire personality is cheering for whoever the Oilers are playing against. 🤣

@_MLFootball I always hated how a central plot point was the Seahawks picking 1st
1) The Seahawks are amongst tge 3 teams who have NEVER had a 1st overall pick.
2) The Seahawks won a SB in 2013, I know movies take years to write and film but even in 2012 they were in the playoffs with Russ
@NHL_Bouchard The challenge to the delay of game is also a bigger blown call than back with the high-stick. It didn’t even up mattering but the puck changes direction, leaves a mark on the glass and causes the glass to shake. Whatevs 🤷♂️
@BrandingHarris NIL has always been a football-focused thing. I know there are some huge basketball programs, but none hold a candle to what SEC and other top ranked football programs make
In 2023 the LA Kings had a 2-1 series lead and were up 3-0 after the 1st in game 4 yet they’re acting like the series is over after a 2 goal lead in game 1 🤣 #EDMvsLAK
@zippitydodah51 Not really, the team is very beat up and people aren’t putting much expectation on them this year after making a game 7 of the finals last year. The only pressure now is from the players themselves to win
@Canucklehead24 I like it. Some might say ONL at 50 and Winston Jr. at 52 are a bit of a reach, there’s a real chance Lott is available at 82, but I believe them to be good football players, and if the Seahawks staff thinks the same then cant complain
@Mo12thMan Zero people wanted Nolan Smith. The entire fanbase was ecstatic when JSN fell to us. Some people leaned Carter, some people kinda predicted John and Pete would prefer high character Spoon.
@NFL_DovKleiman People who’re familial with Toney’s story know he’s been making music as a passion since high school, so this isn’t some crazy midlife crisis.
@KennySloth253 @EliTitanKiller @Hermano_Jamo Exactly, even if this list is 3/7 (and could be 5/7 depending how Haynes and Jerel develop) hits on starters, that’s pretty much average hit-rate for drafting any position throughout the draft.
@Hermano_Jamo I like maybe 5 picks in this draft, with the IOL, Starks at 23 is solid and I agree taking RB at some point in the draft is important to depth, usually I take RB in the 4th or 5th with guys like Devin Neal and RJ Harvey
@hawkblogger You almost gotta wonder if John is just interviewing everyone so every other GM has zero clue who they’re targeting, cause no one ever has a clue who Seattle is targeting in the draft.
@dfoxdefender I know it’s a joke, but outside of the first 4 picks, Ratledge and Mukuba this is kinda a bad draft in my opinion. I’m not a fan of the WRs, TEs, QBs, edges, lack of IOL. All the day 3 picks in the world aren’t worth anything if none of the players pan out.
