I've been on a lot of sidelines, even served as a sideline reporter a couple of times. Here's my take on everyone's favorite story today.
1) Context matters. They made Sark wait for MINUTES due to technical issues at half and he really needed to get into the locker room. Apparently there were more issues postgame while he was waiting to celebrate with his team. It's extremely reasonable that he may have been worrying about missing that special time.
2) That being said, it only takes 7 seconds to say, "Man, I'm so proud of these guys, Holly. That's true Texas Fight right there to never give up. But I'm sorry - I gotta' get in there with my guys. Hook 'Em!" That would have been more professional.
3) Holly Rowe is ALSO a professional. And one who isn't nearly as invested emotionally. She could have turned to the camera after he ran off with, "Well, guys, there goes one happy coach who can't wait to be with his team. We'll see if we can grab someone else, but this place is understandably in celebration mode." Instead, she chose to sulk on-air and make it into more than it is.
4) And most importantly, it's just a postgame interview. This isn't, and never was, an actual big deal. Maybe he gets fined, but with the context of technical issues, I bet he won't. Either way, that should be the end of it. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Equal is not equitable, and splitting a dynamic business into equal cash piles is how generational wealth evaporates in forty-eight months. When you liquidate a firm to divide cash, you trade a productive economic engine for tax drag and passive bank accounts.

Give the operating control to the child who actually has the competence to lead it, and use separate assets, real estate holdings, or life insurance structures to balance the estate for the others.

Preserve the enterprise intact. Covenantal inheritance is about building a lasting institution, not handing out equal lottery tickets.
