@ThommyTox @GilbertPharmD @PharmD_intheED I go back and forth on peri-intubation bicarb for these patients (salicylate tox excluded 😀). If we already can’t keep up with their minute ventilation, won’t we make that even worse with bicarb?

@PharmD_intheED I see your point. But our practice is style is different than ID and CC. Regardless of discipline though, I think skipping national collab is a missed opportunity—providing education to our colleagues and learning from them while not at the bedside is key to practice progression
