چند منبع مطلع خبر دادند که روز دوشنبه پنجم ��رداد یک داربست آهنی در فلکه علیخانی اصفهانی نصب شده و با توجه به استقرار نیرو‌های امنیتی در اطراف آن، نگرانی درباره اعدام چند معترض دی‌ماه در ملاء عام افزایش یافته است. 
پرونده موسوم به میدان علیخانی اصفهان ۱۰ متهم محکوم به اعدام دارد. یک منبع نزدیک به خانواده امیرحسین صفری از متهمان این پرونده به ایران اینترنشنال گفت که خانواده او برای آخرین دیدار به زندان فراخوانده شده‌اند. ابوالفضل سپاهی و علیرضا سپاهی دو بازداشتی دیگر اعتراض‌های دی ماه که به اعدام محکوم شده‌اند هم در خطر قریب‌الوقوع اجرای حکم قرار دارند. در هفته گذشته گل‌محمد محمدی و عرفان اسفندیاری در این پرونده اعدام شدند. 
پرونده میدان علیخانی اصفهان مربوط به اعتراض‌های ۱۸ دی‌ماه در این شهر است که مقام‌های حکومت می‌گویند در درگیری‌های این منطقه چهار نیروی بسیج و یگان ویژه کشته‌ شده‌اند.
