I already said this before but....

Unbreakable:少年Beast might not be perfect but I wish more people can recognise the story and meaning of each promotion was not that separated.

21st Century boys => A "peek" to their struggle
Born dire => A declaration of their desire to keep going
Talk to Me => An attempt to communicate with their fans

Unbreakable:少年Beast as whole is like a declaration from ald1 that regardless how people perceive them as "lucky bastard" who debut with "grand stage", how people call them weak and look down on them, the insults will just keep them going stronger. And they will keep going. (Born Dire lyric basically)

But in the same time, despite their declaration, they want us to actually see the "truth" too. That they are not achieving the "grand stage" because they are just lucky bastard. Thats the purpose of 21st century boys trailer meant to be... they are all have their own "dire" past, that their debut wasn't something easy, they are easily misunderstood and perceived so wrongly even by the people they love.

And yet, in the end for them the people they love are very important for them.

Having identity, declaring their own seriousness on all things (through born dire and one more time lyrics) wouldn't mean anything if they can't make their fans happy too.

Thats why Diamond Hour and Welcome home was there. It was their love confession to the fans. The songs fans desire for them to show, the song filled with heartfelt lyrics that they want us to listen.

And the song itself special, they don't just sings and rap about their history but also their dream, their vulnerability, their hope.

Then we arrived in Talk to Me. Everything about Talk to Me filled with everything that fans seemed to demand on them. The slower song, the yearning vibe, the sensual dance. Ofc its still not perfect but the attempt to "listen" is there.

And if you look at the lyric, it really feels like they want to communicate with us.

Obviously all these interpretation is a bias. I can't 100% says that they definitely aimed this but to be honest, from the interview, article, live and even their plus chat, I'm sure if you look closer you can feel their frustration and desperation for us to recognise this too.

We all have seen the "tell" right? I think its not bad to recognise it was their own frustration and effort behind this too... Ofc it doesn't immediately mean that wakwok is leaving it all to them, wkwk definitely has the final says and more says in anything. But the discussion was there... The effort, the attemtpt was there...

Thats why Arno's injury in the beginning was very devastating for them... Not only abt yet again Arno can't join the music show promotion and schedule... But arno was the "main charm" in the dance break and the outro part...

And god knows how diamond hour supposed to be either with the dance...

Thats why I really, really want us to try to see members with a bit kinder gaze. While criticising it, I hope we can also appreciate members effort there... Both can be done together.

Because this album really filled with their way to communicate with fans and the people. It's not perfect but like, it still mean something... Not just bunch of separated things that mushed together.

There is something shifted when wkwk decide to make OMG just a digital single release, there is something shifted when they make the members write welcome home lyric during their time filming the concept for born dire

For me, it reads like they finally decide that they don't just want to listen to what fans want (like trying OMG concept with easy listening song) but also wrap it in something meaningful without losing the identity itself while also keep learning and studying to actually find ald1 colour by letting the members start trying things to be part of the production too.

And we're here to help them, lets talk to them, abt how we feel, what we want, how it could be better, and how we see them
