Nintendo Switch 2 may have full backwards compatibility with Switch, both physically and digitally.
The Switch titles may also be able to be visually enhanced.

This doesn't mean much, Nintendo denies a lot when it comes to future hardware releases. However, worth noting that Nintendo is denying the earlier reports of the Switch 2 demo (BOTW, UE5 Demo etc.)

The president of Nintendo denies reports that a next-gen Switch was shown to devs at Gamescom.
They also state the infamous dual-screen device patent was applied for knowing it would be seen by the public, and that it won't necessarily be used in a future product.
If it wasn't already assured, we now know with certainty that Nintendo's next system is going to be positioned as a "next generation Switch," thanks to internal emails in the FTC v. Microsoft case. The system has "closer alignment" with gen 8 (PS4/XBO) systems.

Rumored Nintendo Switch 2 information from the Nate The Hate podcast (regarding the systems recent private showcase)
- Matrix UE5 demo shown and looked comparable to the Series X / PS5, featured ray tracing.
- 4K 60FPS BOTW tech demo also shown.
- System uses a modified DLSS 3.5
Credible leaker Pyoro has shared a lot of information recently, to summarize:
- Nintendo Direct soon
- More info on Princess Peach game
- Remakes of a DS game and a Wii game which are "both related"
- New DK game (probably a new Mario vs. DK)
- Something F-Zero related (NSO)
Many had previously speculated that Charles Martinet may have left this role after the recent Nintendo Direct, after the reveal trailers for Wario Ware: Move It! and Super Mario Bros. Wonder both featured 'off-sounding' voices for Wario and Mario respectively.
Charles Martinet, long-time voice actor for many characters in the Super Mario series such as Mario himself, Luigi, Wario, and Walugi amongst others, will be stepping back from his role as a voice actor for Nintendo games - with these roles likely being recast.
End of an era!
VGC is suggesting development kits for #Nintendoโs next system are with key partner studios, with a launch planned H2 2024.
"#Switch2" retains the hybrid gimmick, but with an LCD, not OLED. Physical games are supported, but, crucially, backwards compatibility might not feature.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder could be deliberately more difficult than recent 2D Mario entries, more akin to a game like Super Mario Bros. 3. Testers are reportedly finding the game to be pretty difficult.
Note: This rumor is coming from Zippo, who doesn't have the best track record
A report from MoneyDJ, a wealth management company, suggested that Nintendo's next console could release around Q1 2024. This is based upon a report regarding Foxconn's production and sales outlook over the next year.
MoneyDJ was one of the first to reveal details about the NX.
Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has shared #NintendoSwitch successor info.
Following an email w/ Furukawa, he claimed the system will have a "closer alignment" to the PS4/XBO. This info was shared to convince the FTC that the Call of Duty franchise will run natively on the system.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has seemingly suggested that Nintendo's next system will support backwards compatibility with the #NintendoSwitch, revealing the company "will update [Sparks of Hope] for the new machine."
Wording could also suggest an updated re-release, however.

Portuguese Nintendo news site Nintendo Universe, known as a reliable source of Nintendo info has claimed a #NintendoDirect will air next week. NateTheHate has also suggested the same thing.
The site is claiming it is not a Partner Showcase, as first party titles will be shown.
@kyle_hyde3 Yeah it's hard to tell because you would need to be a member to see this users previous posts. I think given they name drop NintendoPrime and NateDrake it might just be worth waiting to see what they say about it
