Japan National Stadium in Tokyo 🇯🇵

Built for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the stadium features a beautiful design inspired by traditional Japanese architecture, with plenty of wood and greenery.

One of my favorite things about it is how Japanese it feels despite its massive size.

@pathofsuccess92 I’d recommend Kanazawa! 🇯🇵 Beautiful traditional streets, amazing seafood, and one of Japan’s most famous gardens, Kenrokuen. You can enjoy a lot of Kyoto-like charm without going to Kyoto!

@sh_frames Your textbook is right! 😂 We normally say こんにちは during the day and こんばんは in the evening. But in some workplaces, people say おはようございます even at night! Japanese greetings aren’t always as simple as they seem.

@CirieFieldsGoat As someone living in Tokyo, I actually agree we need more public trash cans 😂 The 1995 sarin attack is part of the history, but it’s not the only reason bins are scarce today. And please don’t litter!
