Considering rising numbers of COVID-19 positive cases in the state, the govt has also declared janata curfew from today 8 pm to 6 am till August 10, says Chief Minister Pramod Sawant after a cabinet meeting.
Considering the rising number of covid positive cases Haldanwada ward in Betqi-Candola Village Panchayat in Ponda Taluka has been declared as micro containment zone by government.
"So far 39 positive cases are reported from six houses of the village. Situation is in control and testing of the people from surrounding areas is being done," says Minister Govind Gaude.
All together 26 staffers from Ponda Police Station have tested positive for #COVID-19 till date. It includes 1 GVK EMRI driver, 5 Homeguards and 20 Policeman comprising of 8 PCs, 2 LPC's, 3 HCs, 3 PSI, 1 PI and 3 Special Branch staff.
