A drug called donanemab is showing remarkable success in clearing harmful amyloid plaque from the brain. In some patients, the plaque was reduced so much that ongoing treatment may no longer be needed. It's not a cure, and scientists are still studying its long-term benefits, but this could be a major breakthrough in Alzheimer's research.

🚨 A Tiny Opening Could Change Brain Cancer Treatment Forever

What if doctors could safely open the brain's natural shield for just a few minutes to deliver life-saving treatment?

Scientists have used MRI-guided focused ultrasound and tiny bubbles to briefly open the blood-brain barrier, allowing gene-regulating nanoparticles to reach deadly glioblastoma tumors. In mice, the treatment slowed tumor growth and increased survival.
It's still early research, but this breakthrough could open the door to a new generation of brain cancer therapies.
