🚨🇷🇺JUST IN: Andrew Tate speaks out on why Russia works so well as a country:
“You see that Russia is a very patriotic nation and they don’t fear having a masculine population.”
“In these Western countries, especially in Europe, they prevent that specifically…”
@thesmokingdutch Some people still think there defensive trenches being manned on the front. I know for a fact that this no longer the case. The “front” is a porous grey zone at best.
"Russia is losing!"
"Their economy is collapsing!"
I've been hearing this daily for over two years and the reality on the ground just doesn't match.
Thankfully, we have people like Shaun bringing hard doses of reality to the conversation.
Throwing more resources at a war doesn’t just mean men.
Russia isn’t even on a full war footing. That could change. Mobilisation would likely be deeply unpopular, but that’s a separate discussion from the claim that Ukraine is “winning.”
How exactly are we winning?
Have we liberated significant amounts of occupied territory recently? No.
Is the war still ongoing after more than four years? Yes.
Have we stopped Russia’s increasingly large missile and drone attacks? No.
Does Ukraine also face recruitment and manpower challenges? Yes.
Winning means forcing Russia to abandon its objectives and restoring our sovereignty. Until we are clearly moving towards that outcome, I’d be cautious about declaring that we are winning. 🇺🇦
They still hold territory. They still have greater resources and manpower and I’ve been hearing predictions of Russia’s imminent economic collapse for the last three years.
Say “Russia is losing” to a soldier on the frontline or someone living near it, and you’d probably get punched.
What I would say is that Ukraine has regained some initiative, and that’s significant, but initiative alone isn’t victory. It still needs to be converted into a strategic success somewhere, like the collapse of the southern corridor.
Am I convinced Ukraine is winning? I’m not sure yet, But let’s not underestimate what has been achieved. Regaining the initiative after losing it is incredibly difficult in war, and Ukraine has managed exactly that, and you can’t have one without the other.
🙏🇺🇦
@ShaunPinnerUA@P_Kallioniemi@rpotter_9 For now, I'm going with cautious optimism. I've heard the 'russia is losing, their economy will collapse any day now' points parroted so many times lately and the reality doesn't match.
Here's one for all you idiots who keep stating "Ukraine is corrupt!"
This guy fought tooth and nail with NABU and other agencies, it's about time he was put away.
@secretsqrl123 I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree. Kostiantynivka is getting dicey, I have confirmed reports of evacuations started in Kramatorsk and russia has abandoned meat waves in favor of infiltrations which are becoming more effective as Ukraine is still short on troops.
Got it. If Irish aluminum is used to kill Palestinians, it’s shouldn’t be sold, but if it’s used for Russian missiles killing Ukrainians, we just need to think about local jobs first.
@CaolanReports I personally find it disgusting that Ireland has forgotten the lessons learned during its own fight for independence. My grand uncle was an IRA soldier and took part in that fight. He would be disgusted by this company’s actions.
@nijineko33@CaolanReports Oh so fuck off. My grand uncle was anti treaty IRA and fought for Ireland’s independence. He would be disgusted with this situation.
