This letter from Illyana to the Quiet Council is one of my favorite Magik moments from the Krakoan Era. Her rebuke of Xavier and his child soldier model of mutant education had me cheering loudly!

It felt a little cheesy at first but by the end I was pretty thoroughly hooked and I'm definitely hyped to get more (if we do). The characters and their designs were a strong point for me. Miss Information was an instant favorite for me.

8: The Dormammu arc. I say without hyperbole that this story saved Magik after Gillen came so close to ruining her forever. This was the return of Claremont's Magik, the one who had to try to be good and to worry about Darkchild. It also set up her relationship with Dr Strange.
