The vast majority of overdose deaths are caused by street drugs. Restrictions on prescription pain medications, will do little to curb overdose deaths, while imposing great harm to pain patients.

@tqlemd @MaryBowdenMD Oh please. NSAIDs pose significant risks. Or the gabapentin that doctors are so quick to hand out at the first mention of chronic pain. Low dose oxycodone is arguably safer and more effective, especially for #chronicpain. Studies put risk of addx less than 5%, maybe under 1%

What a slap in the face for these young women.
(So much of the speech was ranting attacks on the Church.)

@RandyEBarnett This works for some kids. But for the kids who make the connections intuitively, it actually makes it harder. There have been so many times my daughter and I looked at her math in elementary school and went WTH?
She’s in high school in AP Algebra 2 now. Much better.

In the spirit of up man ship, I threw a party for 20ish 8 year olds while my arm was in a cast. Only year I didn’t bake the cake myself.

But I totally understood why the brief would be a way to wind down. It would always take me a week to recover.
