Nathaniel Brown’s future is yet to be resolved and any transfer this summer could well become a saga.

The German international is the subject of significant interest from Bayern and Arsenal. Currently, Bayern have held the most extensive discussions with the player’s representatives and convincing the player to move to Munich would not be a problem. However, there is a significant difference in valuation.

Frankfurt’s asking price is €65m for Brown, whose current contract runs until 2030. There is no release clause in that contract, either. So far, Bayern have indicated no willingness to match that fee. It means that while they remain favourites to eventually sign Brown, the deal is far from complete and any negotiation is likely to be protracted

In a new @ZDF documentary, Joshua Kimmich reveals that he was very close to leaving Bayern and that he seriously considered joining PSG: "The club's support wasn't what I'd hoped for or wanted. I had the feeling that Bayern were very open to letting me go [in summer 2024]. That doesn't help to strengthen the bond between club and player. I spoke with Max Eberl. He confirmed it to me again: 'If you want to leave, then you're for sale, that's possible' - At that point, I didn't know what would have to happen for me to extend my contract. I was 95% sure I wouldn't extend

Paris was a club that showed me a strong commitment. One that I hadn't even really expected. I spoke with the sporting director (Luis Campos) and the coach (Luis Enrique). I have to say they did a really good job and gave me the impression that they really wanted me, so you naturally start looking into it. That really made me think. I was supposed to be an important piece of the puzzle there as a player with a bit more experience. And that definitely has an effect on you. Paris sent me an offer. The club held several talks with the LFC winger and his camp - his brother was even at Säbener Straße and a 5-year contract was agreed.
