@JuliaHB1 How come a terrorist supporter who cheers and incites for more acts of terror is an NHS doctor? This is beyond antisemitism. This is a direct call to eliminate all of us.
I spoke at Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester last year on the anniversary of 7 October to commemorate the victims of that attack. I shared that difficult day with a strong and inspiring community.
Today, on Yom Kippur, that community suffered an atrocity of its own. My thoughts are with those whose loved ones were murdered and wounded in this latest attack on British Jews, and with the entire community at increased risk as a result of the continuing incitement and promotion of blood libels against the Jewish state and the Jewish people.
All those who have spread these falsehoods, in the media, in politics, in our education system, and those who have sought to excuse and reward terrorists, they must all be held accountable.

This is “We Will Dance Again” in action. Am Yisrael Chai ❤️🇮🇱
Israel does not exist because the Holocaust occurred. It’s not a ‘reparation prize’ for the murder of 6 million Jews.
It’s precisely the opposite. The Holocaust could not have occurred had Israel existed.
Anyone peddling that lie - is fuelling antisemitism #NeverAgainIsNow
@ttb_backagain This is a lovely image, thank you for thinking about the hostages 🙏 and for sending a message of oneness and unity. Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year 🎊 and Happy Hanukkah 🕎
@BenGoldsmith Israelis of all faiths can travel safely from Nazareth to Beit Lechem even in these troubled times. You are right, if we would have travelled via parts of the Shomron we would risk our lives. However, we are not allowed into these areas. Merry Christmas🎄 , Happy Hanukkah 🕎
@BenGoldsmith Moreover, the land at the time of Jesus was called Jodea. Jesus was a Jodean, a Jew from Jodea, and he preached in synagogues around the Galilee. The Roman Empire, around 135 CE, erased the name Jodea and called the land Palestina.
@BenGoldsmith Shocking but sadly not surprising. On the contrary Eden Golan represented all Jewish people around the globe with profound dignity and beauty. Eden endured with much resilience harassment from a hostile crowd and other contestants and made us proud.
In quiet moments, do you wonder a little why your social media friends are so frantically posting and spreading misinformation about just one conflict thousands of miles away? Does it seem strange to you that they are so fixated on this one comparatively tiny conflict when they seemingly have zero interest in all the others raging around the world right now? (600,000 civilians inc children killed in the last year in Sudan, 375,000 blasted to smithereens in Yemen by one of the best funded militaries in the world, countless dead in Ethiopia-Tigray, Azerbaijan-Armenia, China’s hard-oppressed Uighur Muslims, the poor Kurds endlessly smashed up by Turkey, East Timor, the list goes on.) Presumably the keyboard warriors and the marchers among your friends know that Israel, in the wake of one of the most horrific terrorist atrocities the world has ever seen, has no option but to do something, anything, to prevent it from happening again, and again, even though Israelis want nothing more than to live in peace with their neighbours? ‘Ceasefire now!’ they demand; ‘Peace!’ How do you do peace with an enemy which will settle for nothing less than your total annihilation? The answer to your wondering is this: An ancient, inexplicable, hateful obsession with Jews, with their religion, their race, and now with their one tiny country. As Douglas Murray recently said, “sometimes a flare goes up and you get to see where everybody is”. Well look around you now at the assorted antisemites, Lord Haw Haws and useful idiots demanding that Israel, our friend and ally, a beacon of democracy and freedom sitting there right between Syria, Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, does nothing to defend itself, or rather ceases to exist, as they sing their jaunty genocidal little chant “from the river to the sea”, and remember who they are and where they stand, and why the Jewish people so badly need their own safe haven in a world that periodically flares up with hatred for them.
