#TickTalk: Never remove ticks by burning them, trying to squish them, or putting things like nail polish on them. Never throw them in the trash as they may not be dead. Flushing them down the toilet or killing them with alcohol are the best ways to get rid of ticks.
#TickTalk: If your dog loves to spend time outside or you talk him for walks in the woods, always check the most common areas of your dog where ticks like to bite: soft spots like between toes, in the groin,tail, eyelids, and ears. A full body check is recommended.
