The looming housing crisis is only going to grow exponentially worse with unemployment benefits decreasing. We’re still in the midst of a pandemic, and landlords and greedy management companies are salivating at the chance to evict lower income residents. We need to organize now.
which allowed us to provide critically needed mutual aid.

Peace and solidarity, y’all.
After a little over two years of organizing in Hudson County, MATCH members have voted and decided that we need to take a bit of a break. The past year plus with grocery and supply distribution, coupled with our food share, have been very rewarding in some ways, but not exactly
what we were looking to achieve for long term goals organizing with our neighbors. Sometimes the best step forward is to step back and reflect in the hopes of learning and growing. All remaining funds have been distributed, and we are all deeply grateful for the community support
Mutual aid is a principle, not one particular act.
Capitalist ideology teaches us that we can attain greater success, gauged as “freedom” & stability, through being individualistic, competitive & exploitative.
Mutual aid challenges this ideology. And that’s why it’s a threat.
Over the past year we’ve had the honor of supporting a mutual aid project by the Turtle Clan of the Ramapough Lunaape. Sadly, one of their families lost their home and belongings in a fire. Please consider contributing to this fundraiser if you can. https://t.co/Ie6vk9dWXD
It’s my birthday! A ripe 35 years old.
For the last year or so I’ve spent a lot of time organizing Mutual Aid with @NorthNJDSA , Ramapough Lunaape Turtle Clan, https://t.co/kyTvWSnQ3C , and @njMATCH
Please Donate and RT!
