Everyone is searching for peak climaxes — orgasms, insane parties, psychedelic trips — but the mundane is so beautiful & where you spend most of your life. Tea in the morning. A sunrise. Saying hello to a stranger. Home cooked meal. Petting a dog. A rainfall. Cheese.
People who have been through some fucked up shit are more likely to laugh at some fucked up jokes. People who have had privileged lives are less likely to understand this. For example, make a fucked up joke in a trailer park and then a university and see who gets offended first.
I used to work at fast food, and yeah, that’s what you do, it’s one of the easiest jobs in the world and I was 17,18 working harder than people who are 25+ there. Want to make more money? Go to school, learn a trade, it’s America.
If you call anyone who works in fast food “just a burger flipper” or they just “pour coffee” you can’t use those services anymore sorry but it’s illegal for you to do it until you get a fucking grip
Social media & the press are currently incentivized to drastically exaggerate narratives of division. This in turn creates more division & the downward spiral continues. I hope to build tech that changes these incentives. I believe there is much more love than hate in the world.
Imagine if people got as hyped about their own mental, physical, spiritual, financial and relational development, as they do presidential elections.
The world would ACTUALLY become a much better place.
Immediately.
