After due consultations with my party, the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and Stakeholders of the Rescue and Redemption Movement for Rivers State, I have welcomed Dr. Ibigbiye Deborah Membere as my Running Mate for the 2027 Governorship election in Rivers State. This ticket is in line with my drive to ensure that Rivers women who are eminently qualified and willing to serve the state will have the platform in our government to express themselves.

Rivers people can dream again and be certain that their dreams won't get crushed. Our sleeves will constantly be rolled up in service to the people as I look forward to getting your mandate.

We sent another batch of our 4R Program Students on Outreach. They have been in the classroom phase for the past three months. Now is time for them to go as missionaries to share the testimony of their victory over the captivity of drugs/substance abuse, cultism and crime.

As we continue to live, God helping us, we will keep doing our best to keep young people away from drugs and crime. Drugs and substances are a major source of motivation for the high level of criminality and violence that is tearing Nigeria apart.

Yesterday I returned from Abuja after receiving my party flag and certificate of return as the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) Flagbearer for the 2027 Governorship election in Rivers State.

This is not the time for too much talk and vain promises. It is time to get Rivers State working again. Time to give the youths of Rivers State direction and purpose... something to live for and be proud about.

It is time for Rivers State to rise and break free from the bounds of oppression, tyranny and leadership rascality. It is time to build a stronger and more united Rivers State with abundant opportunities for all.

Go get your Permanent Voter's Card #PVC and be ready to put Rivers State on the path of recovery.

It is my pleasure to announce that we have officially commissioned the landmark Nnenna Oti Bus Terminal in Umuahia, and it is now ready for public use. The project is a multimodal transport hub designed to accommodate more than 340 buses at once, powered by sustainable infrastructure and connected to our growing network of electric buses.

The facility is named in honour of Prof. Nnenna Nnennaya‑Oti, the courageous INEC Returning Officer in the 2023 governorship election, whose integrity and patriotism remind us that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary results by simply standing for the truth.

Her name on this terminal is not just about one person, but a tribute to all electoral officials, security operatives, party agents, and citizens who resisted intimidation and defended democracy.

With 20 electric buses already in operation and more on the way in the coming weeks, the project signals our bold vision for a modern, safe, and sustainable transport system in Abia. The facility is also supported with independent power and water systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.

In my address titled “Raising the Bar”, I stated unequivocally that we have moved beyond the era of small ambitions. We refuse to be boxed into margins that underestimate our strength. This principle underpins all our undertakings.

I extend special commendation to the contractors, Planet Projects Limited, for a job well done in delivering this landmark facility. I also appreciate the dedication of the Commissioner for Transport, Dr. Chimezie Ukaegbu, the SSA Transport, Dr. Obioma Nwaogbe, and their team for the critical role they played in bringing this vision to reality.

I call on all residents and members of the host community to take ownership of this facility, to maintain a clean environment, and to guard against vandalism. This terminal belongs to you, and its success depends on your care. I also urge all Abians to pay their taxes regularly. Development cannot be sustained without collective responsibility, and every naira contributed helps us deliver the future our people deserve.

I want to return all the glory to God Almighty for His grace that has spoken once more in my life as I was declared winner of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) Governorship Primaries that was held on Monday May 25th 2026 in Rivers State.
