@NeilLfc_5 Mate what on earth are you on about?
Vidic dispossessed the players and it was evra being a donkey losing the ball in the box. Rio could do nothing in that situation.
Fair enough if you think they’re overrated but they’ve literally done nothing wrong in this clip.
@ManUtd_Optimist It’s not rlly a big deal if he’s not amazing tbh, he only cost us £35m.
Worst case scenario, he’s not physical enough to start so he’ll come off the bench in games where we need some creativity, and his leadership and experience will provide value off the pitch aswell.
@twos6xes I think he’s perfect.
Not too expensive so we can still sign other players and he’s experienced in the prem so will be a solid player and a good teacher for zirkzee aswell. We’re not looking for a new starting striker, we need a solid backup who can support sesko and the team.
@WakoCD_ I’d rather mateta. We need a striker we can rely on while sesko works his way up to his potential, and who can also help teach sesko.
We don’t want two strikers who are trying to find their form, one is enough.
@FergiesRightRef This is why signing an aggressive and fast centre back is so important and I don’t get why it’s being overlooked so much.
The profiles of our centre backs has a crucial impact on the way we play football. If they’re too slow and weak, then we can’t play dominant football.
@fuadyabz23 Our frontline is missing an experienced, physical striker who can be relied upon to hold up the ball, score goals in the prem and cover for sekso.
@FPLfrasier For example, this could be bait for other players we’re negotiating for (eg hall), in hopes of convincing other teams that we have little to spend and will not overpay.
@FPLfrasier Unless it’s concrete information, I now often expect the opposite of any rumours we hear in the market.
INEOS seem to be quite smart in what they’re letting get out, so anytime I hear something, I ask why would they want this info to be released, instead of taking it as truth.
I think wirtz will end up having a really similar career to havertz.
Theres definitely a player in there, and I think he can go on to have a solid career. He just needs be seen as a useful player, not a world class talent, just like what havertz went through.
@unitedpeoplestv I don't really believe the Balde rumours and I think if we don't even value MLS at the £50m that Arsenal are asking for then that just shows we don't really rate him.
We have the money for Hall, I can't really see why it won't happen.
@unitedpeoplestv I'm quite confident Hall will come.
Newcastle do seem open to selling him,and while the price they are asking for is high, it's not too ridiculous. It's also clear he wants to come to us, and I think the board rate him too highly to miss out on him.
@Utd1Optimist Because we're probably not going to sign him?
Just look at this window, there were no rumours before we signed any of our players until the deal was basically done. Stop believing every little thing you read unless it is at the final stages of the deal.
@FPLfrasier Well yeah we want the wage bill to be lowered for players who don't deserve what they're earning (Sancho, Rashford etc).
Of course we'd be happy if the club paid a lot of money for the best players in the world though.
@riordan_st80305@UtdFaithfuls Who's better than him though?
He's not perfect, but he's great on the ball and he's just as good defensively as our other cb (which I am aware isn't a very high level). Realistically he is our 2nd best cb.
@ahtalksfutbol Yh I thought we were set up solidly defensively.
Problem was definitely the attack, creating practically no big chances against them is a joke.
Even if we didn't concede those two goals, a 0-0 draw would still be embarrassing.
