Swallowed by a Whale—A Modern-Day Jonah?
Did you see that news story about the guy who was literally swallowed by a humpback whale? I mean, come on—a modern-day Jonah! Fortunately for him, the whale apparently decided he wasn’t worth the meal and spit him out after a brief taste. (Is this like sushi-eating in reverse?)
Now, speaking of Jonah, Jesus Himself said that Jonah was a “sign” to us. But what does that actually mean? Is it just an interesting biblical fish story, or is there something deeper going on?
I explain it all right here. 🐋👇
Happy President’s Day to President Trump!
You know, it’s really easy for us to sit back, coffee in hand, and critique our leaders. After all, they work for us, right? But let’s be real—very few of us can truly grasp what it means to carry the enormous weight of leadership—especially when that leadership involves guiding the free world through the challenges of history.
Think about it—George Washington set the course for a brand-new nation. Abraham Lincoln held it together through its darkest hour. Ronald Reagan faced down communism and helped bring about the fall of the Soviet Union. And yes, Donald Trump stepped into Washington’s political machine and shook things up in ways no one expected. Each of these men, in their time, carried an incredible burden—one that we can’t fully understand from the outside looking in.
That’s why, as followers of Jesus, we are commanded to pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Instead of simply offering criticism, let’s lift them up in prayer—asking God to protect them, guide them, and give them the wisdom they need to lead well. Because at the end of the day, when godly wisdom leads, we all benefit.
So today, let’s do just that. Pray for our president. Pray for our nation. And pray that we would continue to be one nation, under God. 🙏🇺🇸

Congratulations to every single person on the left who’s been campaigning to destroy women’s and girls’ rights. Without you, there’d be no images like this.
TRUMP: "Birthright citizenship...was meant for the children of slaves. This was not meant for the whole world to come in & pile into the United States."
