When we came in 18months ago, the community of Garankuwa repeated the same depressing message. That in Garankuwa they hve been forgotten and their roads neglected. We have had endless meetings, inspections with our residents and community leaders here in Garankuwa zone 4. This is an exciting moment for us as we handover this Roads and Stormwater project.🙏🏾❤️🇿🇦

Tshwane is slowly becoming a construction site every year, and we love to see it. Last year around this time, the MMC for Roads and Transport was across different communities resurfacing roads and building new infrastructure. This year, the same consistency continues. @tlangimich

@MphahleleMM @BoyJacobs2 @CityTshwane I know it’s painful but it’s the truth. The city of Tshwane in the last 9rs was under the DA, ActionSA, EFF, Freedom Front etc! Here in the city of Tshwane the anc was removed from power in 2016.

Launch of the Stinkwater and New Eeresterust area Road & Stormwater Infrastructure Upgrade, Ward 14.

We are pleased to announce the commencement of the Stinkwater and New Eersterust Area, road and stormwater infrastructure upgrade in Ward 14, Region 2. This project is a direct response to the long-standing challenge of inadequate roads and stormwater infrastructure in Stinkwater and New Eersterust Area, which has resulted in the flooding of homes and properties during rainy seasons. The upgrade will bring lasting relief to residents and improve access, safety, and dignity in the community.

The project covers the construction of 3.2km of internal roads from gravel to asphalt surfacing, 1.36km of stormwater drainage pipes, and 1.36km of sidewalks. Works also include manholes, junction boxes, kerb inlets, speed humps, road signs, and road markings.The site of the project is located in the Stinkwater and New Eersterust areas, north of Pretoria CBD, approximately 50 km from the city center.

@tlangimich This can’t be the brain you use to think every day. There’s no way you genuinely believe service delivery only happens because of elections. This project was terminated by the DA because, apparently, there was “no budget” for our townships. Now the MMC is reinstating it
