@ABNDND_Co@screentime The box office is in a great place, better than its been in years, and blockbusters are thriving like they always have (shi maybe even a lil better than they have in the past like 5-8 years)
@ABNDND_Co@screentime Fast X, little mermaid, spiderverse, mission impossible, barbie, oppenheimer
All summer blockbusters that have done incredibly well
If u want more successful blockbusters in 2023, we have
Mario, wonka, dune 2, aquaman 2, hunger games, guardians 3, creed 3, transformers and more
@ABNDND_Co@screentime Yeah, they are. Mission impossible made 230m in like 5 days. Barbie is tracking to earn 110m in 1 weekend. Folks are very much still going to big blockbusters. They just aren’t going to nostalgia-baiting CGI-filled big blockbusters.
@abdmajkhan@screentime SAG, AMPTP and the WGA all still apply to “independent work”. Actors and writers arent allowed to work, doesnt matter if its Netflix or Tubi or A24.
@thebloomix @Lilac_Gene @kathbrimon@diorgrls @_haaniyah_ Jesus christ u would find a rock offensive
No offense was meant in the exclusion of lesbians. Read that reply again and just switch the words "gay" and "men" with "lesbian" and "women" and it would still mean the exact same thing. Its that easy
@HogwartsLegacyN @HogwartsLegacy@FinchStrife@DCAllen7 just thought you might wanna know that less than an hour before the State of Play,
HOGWARTS LEGACY HAS BECOME THE #1 MOST VIEWED TRAILER IN PLAYSTATION CHANNEL HISTORY!
@SeanMaddocks13 @ColUpton@GNev2 No, the game is not to have 26 players that are all world class. Title winners have always had a great 11 and a few good players coming off the bench. The fact that some teams (city) have the ridiculous wealth to be able to afford 26 world class players isnt "part of the game".
