1/2 - Yesterday, the ON gov’t released a revised COVID-19 screening tool for children in schools and child care. @YorkRegionGovt PH is working to update their resources to reflect the new changes, including the decision tree that was shared with families earlier this week.
Creating and pretending with small dramatic play kits. We have created a variety of individual playful choices that include characters, manipulatives and loose parts for open ended play. To extend this, children are encouraged to create additional props for use in their play.
SENSORY EXPERIENCES: The pandemic does not mean we are removing opportunity for hands-on, sensory experiences. It means we are modifying them to create single use opportunities that will be sanitized and refreshed before the next user. #fdk#sensoryplay#handsonlearning
