SOUTH AFRICAN ARTIST LOYISO BALA BOWS OUT IN STYLE AS THE BUSINESS MANAGER FOR SABC'S UMHLOBO WENENE FM AND TRUE FM
Artist Loyiso Bala exiting his position as the Business Manager for the SABC's Eastern Cape based UMhlobo Wenene and True FM radio stations.
Bala announced his departure from the radio station on Tuesday.
In his statement, Bala never mentioned why he was leaving the station.
"Today marks the end of my journey as Business Manager of the SABC's Eastern Cape Combo, Umhlobo Wenene FM and True FM. It has been one of the most stretching and meaningful leadership assignments of my career. Not only because of the responsibility, but because of the people.
"To the UWFM and trufm teams I had the privilege of working with, thank you for your trust, commitment and shared purpose. You gave me more than support. You trusted me, and that is not something I take lightly or will ever forget," he wrote.
Bala thanked the presenters, producers and internal stakeholders.
"Thank you for your patience, your honesty, and for buying into the assignment. At times, my way of doing things may have been unconventional, but you continued to show up, and together we were able to build moments that mattered. I am deeply grateful to the Lord for His guidance, strength and grace throughout this journey. To my wife, Jennifer, and my daughters, thank you for your constant love and support. You carried me through every high and low, and I could not have done this without you.
"And to the listeners of trufm and Umhlobo Wenene FM, you are family. Thank you for your honesty, your warmth, and your loyalty to these stations. Without you, there would have been no reason to keep showing up with that level of commitment," he said.
Bala said said as he leave this season, he do so with gratitude.
"Gratitude for the milestones reached, the lessons learned, the trust shared, and the people who made the journey worthwhile. Enkosi kakhulu (thank you very much). I still believe the best is ahead," he said.
