If you are on a yellow don’t dive. Simple. Anyone else saying otherwise is comical considering you probably have criticized flopping too. Can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Gianni Infantino has said FIFA will examine expanding the World Cup by a further 16 nations to a 64-team tournament ahead of its next edition in 2030.
The 2030 tournament will be spread across six nations and three continents: Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay are scheduled to host one match apiece at the start of the competition, with the remaining games split between Morocco, Portugal and Spain.

Cannot believe the France vs Spain semifinal is 3pm on a Tuesday. A weekday afternoon. North America is hosting this World Cup. Put the final at 3pm Saturday... fine... it's the weekend. But scheduling a semi at 3pm on a workday to cater to Europe while North Americans get shafted is a joke.
And before anyone says a lot of the tournament games have been in the afternoon, that is not the point. This is a HUGE semifinal. When you host, the marquee games go in your prime time. That is how the Olympics work, that is how past World Cups have worked. The host market gets the showcase window. North America is hosting and got skipped for a weekday matinee. What is even the point of hosting?
Group stage is the best stage. The tournament is young, summer is young. You’re inundated with an endless marathon of games. All the teams, including yours, are in so anything can happen. Once you get to the quarters you’re reminded that it will all be over soon and you’ll die

IMBECILES
The most depressing thing about loving soccer in the USA is seeing the pattern of everyone not care, then misunderstand, then get hype, then clown on soccer once the USMNT lose, then just move on.
Repeat every 4 years.
Is Christian Pulisic a player that shows up in the big moments? No. Is he good leader? No. Does he have a charisma? No. Does he at least have good morals? No.
USMNT players need to feel the wrath of the media and fans after this pathetic performance. Unworthy of a World Cup stage.
This is not the time for moral victories. This is not the time for kumbaya. This is not the time to celebrate how this team brought people together.
If you applaud this mediocrity, you only condone mediocrity. Call them out, from the president of the federation to the goalkeeper. And EVERYONE in this team.
Especially the poster boy of this group: Christian Pulisic. He never asked to be the face of it all so why are we making him be that? He doesn’t lead. It doesn’t look like he wants to. And then chronically injured. You can’t be Captain America if you can’t carry the weight of the shield.
And he’s not the only one, by the way. You can point to a lot of the guys yesterday who weren’t up to the task. Chose whoever. Pulisic just happened to be the face of it all.
Every World Cup elimination we sit with our head in our hands asking questions about pay-to-play, what if our best athletes, did we take the right players, when are we going to make it?
This is the main reason we’re being held back. It’s nothing you don’t know:
Football in the US is institutionalized and corporatized. It’s a business first and then comes soccer. ACROSS the board. From US Soccer who prices out fans for ugly friendlies. To MLS’s closed system that rewards mediocrity. To clubs and academies that make it difficult for families to have their kids play soccer.
It’s all wrong. It was great in 1994 when we needed something to get up and running. But now we’re on the wrong trajectory. And our complacency will never redirect course.
Be disappointed, be angry. Call them out. Don’t reward this. You shouldn’t be feeling anything else. If not, we’ll never progress.
I saw Mohamed Salah play 120 minutes in a knockout game at 34 with a hamstring injury and he got MOTM while leading his country to win their first ever knockout game, some players don’t have it 👍
If this makes you proud as a USMNT supporter, then you’re part of the problem.
NOW is the time to DEMAND more from US Soccer.
This is supposed to boil your blood. We were sold the idea of a World Cup on our soil changing soccer forever.
We beat the teams we were supposed to beat and lost to the ones better than us. A lot of hype to only end up in the same place as always.
🚨🏆 Cristiano Ronaldo: “I’ve won Euro 2016 and for me it has same dimension as the World Cup”.
“That remains forever. Tomorrow is a new day, and we go”.
