Being a lawyer is dealing with unprofessional attorneys, and when you tell them that they are unprofessional, they tell you that you are unprofessional, and then you continue to argue about who is actually unprofessional until the end of the case.

And sometimes one lawyer or another or both is able to document said "unprofessionalism" in an email and finds find a way to show the Judge in an email Exhibit to a pleading, and then the Judge rolls their eyes and usually doesn't give a shit.

And then you basically gaslight and/or get gaslighted until you die while dealing with different levels of professionalism.
