Fantastic trip to Liverpool with Y3 in our last week together. We travelled on the Mersey Ferry and visited the Ancient Egypt exhibition to reflect our curriculum work this year. Such fun @QueensCoEURC@MissKnocktonQP@MissHughesQP#everythingispossible
Lovely to welcome some of our Y3 parents in this week to join in with our reading fluency session. We worked their socks off and impressed them with our amazing expressive reading 📖 @QueensCoEURC@MissHughesQP#everythingispossible
A great investigation this afternoon into the structure of a plant and how important the roots are. We learnt that they anchor the plant into the soil….which mostly was found all over the classroom 😂Super work though Q3 @QueensCoEURC
What would happen if we had no bones! “Floppy sacks of skin!” say Q3. We predicted how we could pick up the pencil case without bones then investigated! We are biologists! @QueensCoEURC
3D shapes make more sense when we make them ourselves. Great reasoning going in today as we worked out the edges, vertices and faces 👍🏼@QueensCoEURC@MissBaileyQP
Step two in our seasonal crumble preparation. Taste and evaluate fruit in season. Also we revisited our knife handling skills from year two and worked safely and hygienically 🔪 🍎 🍒 🍑 🍌 @QueensCoEURC@MissHughesQP
So many fab shenanigans to celebrate World Book Day and our class focus on illustrators but my favourite was a class full of Beatrix Potter fancy dress children painting Peter Rabbit 🐰 Wonderful @QueensCoEURC@MissHughesQP@MissJonesQP
