The Festival may be over but there's a Festival Fringe event this Friday. An evening of live & local music for all ages at New Mills Town Hall, performed by New Mills Brass Band with Chapel Male Voice Choir. The concert starts at 7.30pm & FREE to attend (donations are welcomed)

Apple coring & the treasure hunt, once again, proved hugely popular at Apple Day this afternoon at New Mills Community Orchard 🍎🍏 There was also a bouncy castle & a number of stalls for people to enjoy

Baroque & Beyond Summer Concert

This afternoon 3pm, Baroque in the North, Manchester’s expert period-instrument ensemble, are performing at Providence Church on Mellor Road as part of their summer concert series
Tickets are £15 per person (available on the door)

Our Antiques, Collectables & Vintage Craft Fair is now underway at New Mills Leisure Centre. There’s stalls, selling a variety of antiques, crafts, art & more. Plus refreshments & yummy cakes

It’s on until 3pm, admission is £1 min donation, profits go to New Mills Festival

Join award-winning conductors Hannah Brine & Stuart Overington for an uplifting day of group singing at @SpringBankArts this Saturday 24th. The event is suitable for beginners & is a chance to sing with others guided by two amazing composers

What a great turnout for Mike Daniels' local history walk on the historic mills of Newtown this morning 👣

He outlined the history of each mill & their owners & explained how cotton mills work & the processes of turning raw cotton into thread
