From 18 to 22 May 2026, the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre conducted the 2026 iteration of its resident Course 28000 “Radiological Search in the Maritime Environment”, hosting 20 trainees and 11 instructors from 6 Nations.
From 4 το 15 May 2026, NMIOTC delivered the Resident Course 27000 “Maritime Sniper Course” in the broader area of Chania, Crete.
In total, twenty three (23) trainees from six (6) countries (Belgium, Germany, Greece, Malta, Netherlands and Slovakia).
From 11 to 15 May 2026, based on a request from the Romanian Navy ship F222 REGINA MARIA, NMIOTC delivered Tailored Training to 19 members of the ship’s Command & Boarding Team.
On 12 and 13 May 2026, the ΝΜΙΟΤC Coordinating Board (NCB) was convened at the Centre, chaired by a Hellenic Navy General Staff representative and co-chaired by a representative from HQ SACT.
