NNPC Limited Delivers NGN7,913 Billion in Statutory Payments, Sustains 100% Upstream Pipeline Availability for Second Consecutive Month

NNPC Ltd. has released its Monthly Report Summary for July 2026.

Cumulative statutory payments for January to July 2026 reached NGN7,913 Billion, up from NGN6,286 Billion for January to June 2026, reflecting a month-on-month addition of NGN1,627 Billion. Similarly, upstream pipeline availability was sustained at 100% for the second consecutive month.

Nigeria At #GASTECH2026: A Recap

NNPC Ltd. continues to strengthen its presence in the global energy sector with an impactful outing at the 2026 Gas Technology & Exhibition Conference (GASTECH), held from 14th to 17th September in Bangkok, Thailand.

GASTECH is the world’s largest exhibition and conference focused on natural gas, LNG, hydrogen and low-carbon solutions. At its 54th edition, the conference brought together about 50,000 participants from over 150 countries, including energy experts, CEOs, policymakers, investors, and technology leaders.

For the four days the programme lasted, global energy leaders engaged in strategic conversations on the future of energy, innovation and sustainable growth, discussing energy security, LNG supply, infrastructure investment and decarbonisation.

Nigeria, whose delegation was led by the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, featured prominently on some of the panel sessions, roundtables and dialogue fora.

Also present at the Conference were NNPC Ltd.'s Executive Vice President (EVP), Gas, Power & New Energy, Olalekan Ogunleye; EVP, Business Services, Sophia Mbakwe and other Senior Management Staff of the company. The Commission Chief Executive, Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, and the Authority Chief Executive, Nigerian Midstream & Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Rabiu Umar, were also present.

Gastech: NNPC's Audu Moderates Session on Policy, Equitable Energy Workforce

The Head, Non-Fuel Revenue, North-Central Region, NNPC Retail Limited, Hasiya Audu, moderated an interactive session on "Exploring Real-world Applications of Policy to Build an Equitable, Future-ready Energy Workforce" at the Gastech 2026 Exhibition and Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, on Wednesday.

Audu, who also serves as National Vice President of Women in Energy, Oil and Gas (WEOG), led conversations on how individuals can shape policy across ministries, national oil companies, and non-governmental organisations.

Held as part of the Inclusion and Diversity track, the session examined how policy shapes market conditions, affordability, and access across the energy industry, and how policymakers can widen participation in projects and on boards while reaching underserved communities with secure, affordable energy.

The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, recently received executives of Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), led by the Chairman and Managing Director, Chevron Nigeria/Mid-Africa Business Unit, Mr. Jim Swartz, in Abuja.

Discussions centred on raising production output from the NNPC/CNL Joint Venture, especially drilling and development work required to lift volumes, and the near-term steps both partners will take towards achieving these targets.

As echoed by our EVP, Gas, Power & New Energy, Olalekan Ogunleye, our strategy is anchored on the Petroleum Industry Act, the Decade of Gas Framework, and our Gas Master Plan, all pointing toward a clear near-term target: 10 billion cubic feet per day of national gas production by 2027, rising to 12 Bcf/d by 2030.

Over 215tcf of proven reserves gives Nigeria what the moment demands. The work now is coordination and delivery.
