The government wants to raise the standards of the healthcare system but they don't want to spend on the healthcare workers. They want to earn from medical education but they don't want to pay to the healthcare system.

Interns!!! The junior most doctors who are the basic technical manpower in the tertiary care medical hospitals in the state. They paid lakhs to the government for the degree but they are working at daily wages of 500 rupees. Which is far less than a minimum wage of a labourer.

Punjab Govt was increasing MBBS fee increases every year, but Stipend paid to interns remains ₹500 per day.

Daily wage workers are getting more money than 500/- per day.

@AamAadmiParty Govt of Punjab under leadership of @BhagwantMann should reconsider this.
