@andystake88 Im sure he has some say in signings. At the moment we need players that listen to courtois, believe in him, and don’t go rogue for the rest of the season. Right now there is still too much disjointed play, which leads me to think that he is still in a weeding out process.
@andystake88 Meh. Basically almost all the rotation is down to a very heavy schedule. It’s also not as simple as who has good performances, there’s also team chemistry, playing the way Courtois wants, etc. We’re 5 months into a new project, no reason to over think things right now.
@AlexGangueRuzic Honestly it’s a shame that all the talk after this game will be about the drone stuff because I just witnessed two of the nicest goals I’ve seen from #CanWNT
@pbernier10@MLS@cfmontreal Question Patrice : is Citi field the same dimensions as yankee stadium? It’s always an extremely tough watch when we play NYCFC in their usual home turf.
@TsarbucksFC I think it’s less about individual performance and more about getting on the same page in this new system. Partnerships are being formed, but some slower than others. Millar and Davies are working well together and I already see an improved Davies because of it.
@LapierreMathie4@SoccerenFolie Je suis d’accord avec toi en théorie, mais c’est un gros risque. Breza n’a jamais montré qu’il est alaise avec le ballon au pied. Je vois pas le gros upside avec ce move la.
@NiltonJorge He’s a decent player but sadly he is very one-footed. Most players are, but when asked to play more of an offensive role on Saturday, it really showed.
@tv_jjd Biello seems to be thinking very logically lately, and logically speaking, with Vitoria not playing, not playing three defenders who have a ton of experience playing together (Miller, waterman, Johnston) makes no sense. Unless one is not fully fit, this is also what I’d do.
@AlexGangueRuzic Honestly he just listened to smart Twitter on this one, lol. Call up in form players, drop out of form players. I have zero complaints with this list.
@pbernier10@cfmontreal I agree with your assessment of Duke, but you also need to take into consideration Coccaro’s decision making. Noticing that Duke was running at breakneck pace into a cul de sac, he should have thought twice of passing to him, instead of expecting a difficult return pass.
@AlexGangueRuzic Agreed. In-form strikers can turn that frustrating 0-0 stalemate into a lead in the blink of an eye. I would pack our bench with strikers just in case. I can’t imagine needing an extra D or DM to ice the game vs TnT, if anything we will need offense to break a deadlock.
@AlexGangueRuzic Its impressive considering these must be all high pressure goals with Wednesday in a relegation battle. It’s hard to say if he has really turned a corner or not career-wise, but Biello should simply have him in the team because having an in-form striker on your bench never hurts.
@RobbyTee@pbernier10@cfmontreal@RDSca Thx for the update! For me, one of the most important players for us. One of if not only player on the team to go box to box and stay consistent over the course of 90 minutes last year. I see a great future for the kid.
