I think Adam Silver, and his team, has done more overthinking to ruin the NBA product more than any other league in American sports.
Why the FREAK(!) would you de-incentivize team building with harsh 1st and 2nd aprons and then PENALIZE teams for tanking (acquiring good young players on rookie contracts) when you’ve built in a mechanism that penalizes teams for having too many (well-paid) good young players?
The aprons have essentially massacred title windows for teams who want to take aim at repeating in the 2020s by forcing them to gut their own rosters to mitigate the risk of incurring tax penalties in the hundreds of millions.
And then if you have a BAD contract on your roster the burden of that contract can essentially bury your team for years to come.
It doesn’t make sense.
Been saying this. So many fans thought 23 was the start of a dynasty. Truth is it was a salvaged championship after the gut wrenching Murray injury. They would've been the team to beat in 21 and 22.
the president is openly admitting that he wants to commit a genocide of an entire civilization and republicans will still sit around blindly defending him instead of putting their pride to the side. our country is fucking hopeless full of people with no morals in charge. im sick
Cody Kessler was preaching about 2025 Jalen Hurts
"The OC was THE main issue. Offense was stagnant, no shifts and motion, we're getting up to the LOS too late. People arguing Hurts isn't making the right checks, well shit he doesn't have time to make those checks and dissect the defense because the play call is getting in too late"
People won't share this clip though. Too little Hurts hate involved.

The lets get this straight. Nick Sirianni rested his starters, lost the two seed. AND then scored 19 against a team missing all their defensive starters. Fire Nick Sirianni.
