@paolini These people suck. I’ve read/listened to the series a dozen or more times over the years. That ending has NEVER failed to make me cry. The sadness, the melancholy, Roran left behind. Arya whisked away. It hurts, but is SO relatable. No other author has done that to me.

@paolini I second this. Eragon was the first ya novel I ever tackled, and still find new things to love about it every year on a re-read. Crazy how you identify with different characters as you age. You are one of the reasons I decided to pursue writing as a career.

@ThatSamWinkler Whenever I’m traveling, I always wonder if I’ll run into other game designers. As someone still early in their career, I love when I happen upon someone who’s doing it. It makes me excited for the day I can see that gleam of excitement in someone else’s eyes.

@paolini How far down the road do you think we might get a full description of the Liduen Kvaedhi glyph system? Fans want to be able to write (and get tattoos) in the language. I want to get Weise Heill as a tattoo.

@paolini That chonk also became a rather flavorful Magic: The Gathering card.

He can’t fly easily, but he has Trample.
He’s so fat, when he enters he makes the ground shake, dealing damage.
And if he tries to fly, he exerts himself so much he can’t attack the next turn.

@littleraucous I’m just starting out solo, after doing narrative for 2 years. I have to learn UE5 with minimal knowledge. I have ideas and motivation, but my biggest hurtle is limiting my features to avoid scope creep.

@mossy_max With 50% to legendaries, should I be using those over Microcosm? I’m on Titan with Spirit of the Warrior/Star Eater. The Iron Banner trace with Jolting Feedback looked nice, and I can equip both in the same loadout. But which actually does more DPS? With my build, I assume Micro.
