When is it fair to call this man; who doesn't want his kids living in a racial jungle, who lied about his involvement with the Civil Rights and Anti-Apartheid Movements, who was anti-bussing, who dogwhistled super predators, who questions the blackness of black people; a racist?
If she’s so fucken clairvoyant then how come she wasn’t able to predict that running on a pro-genocide platform was gonna hand the whole election to donald trump 🥱
The term “preemptive” is pure propaganda. The U.S. once again used the veneer of negotiations as a cover to bomb Iran. Tehran had just offered terms that went far beyond the 2015 nuclear deal. What was preempted was diplomacy. The same propaganda tactics used in 2003 Iraq war.
🟢 Israel agreed to a “ceasefire” in Gaza on October 10. Since then, Israeli forces have:
➤ Launched 852 airstrikes and artillery attacks
➤ Opened fire on Palestinians 665 times
➤ Committed 1,856 armed violations on the ground
🔴 Israel Killed:
➤ 198 Children
➤ 85 Women
➤ 23 Elderly Citizens
648 Palestinians total
🔴 Israel Wounded:
➤ 507 Children
➤ 337 Women
➤ 89 Elderly Citizens
1666 Palestinians total
The Palestinian resistance in Gaza shared on Day 137 (February 25) of the “ceasefire” a report detailing “sustained and systematic” Israeli violations of the truce.
➤ It recorded that children, women, and the elderly make up 47.2% of those killed during the “ceasefire.”
➤ It documents 1,856 Israeli field violations, averaging 13.5 violations per day, including live fire, drone strikes, artillery shelling, demolitions, and naval gunfire.
➤ The most severe violations, according to the report, concern aid. The ceasefire requires 600 trucks per day, including 50 fuel trucks. The document states that only 43.2% (260 of 600 agreed trucks) have entered overall, and just 15.1% of required fuel.
➤ It accuses Israel of providing “misleading figures” to mediators and refusing independent monitoring, calling the fuel restrictions a deliberate obstruction of recovery and basic services.
➤ Only 1,753 of 4,200 scheduled travelers were allowed to pass through Rafah in both directions — a compliance rate of just 41.7%.
The report concludes that the violations form a “continuous and systematic pattern” that has stripped the ceasefire of practical substance.
Democrats enabled Krysten's stunt by stripping the $15 min wage from the must pass Covid relief bill in the spring of 2021. Sinema's 'thumbs down' moment was not a vote on the bill itself, but a vote on Bernie Sanders' amendment to put it back in the bill, which required 60 votes. Schumer maneuvered to strip the $15 min wage from ARPA which could pass with a bare dem majority (50 votes) via budget reconciliation by blaming the 'ruling' of the parliamentarian. He thus ensured Sinema could vote against $15 min wage without tanking the must pass bill that kept the economy afloat. The parliamentarian's "ruling" was only advisory, & was a cover by the Biden administration to disguise their opposition to raising the minimum wage.

Jeremy Scahill: “The great Yemeni cartoonist Kamal Sharaf had a piece of art that showed a camera snaked to construction equipment pummeling through the ground, past dead Palestinian bodies, to try to find one Israeli body.”
Scahill told Democracy Now the image reflects Gaza’s reality — as Israel allows a few Egyptian machines to dig for 13 Israeli captives while 10,000 Palestinians remain buried beneath the rubble.
The reason Van Jones can get up, use “dead Gaza babies” so crassly, toss in a joke about Diddy mid-sentence, and have an audience erupt in laughter - without hesitation for either context or content - is because of the depth and breadth of dehumanization that’s been permitted toward Palestinians (including by those who call themselves “allies”). There is no America in which “dead Jewish babies” could ever be invoked in such a vulgar way on such a platform.
So long as Palestinians are denied full humanity - which includes the right to the language of their liberation without deference to the “feelings” of their oppressors; the right to resist extermination; the right to speak for themselves; and the right to have their humanity disentangled from their oppressors’ “security” - this casual, crass dehumanization will persist.
These people seriously think that if Bobby Kotick had stayed in charge of Activision Blizzard, there’d have been no layoffs, no price hikes, and everyone would be getting record bonuses in 2025. Truly, we missed out on a utopia for gaming.
This guy allegedly:
• Threatened to have an assistant killed (on voicemail)
• Suppressed reports of harassment
• Was sued by the California DFEH over workplace misconduct
• Fired hundreds of employees while paying himself over $150M
But sure if only he’d stayed in charge, everything would be fine.
