Battling an extremely painful (and probably terminal) illness, while MMA fighting for a bs minimum wage job. Anon because I’m racist. Stop all immigration.
Switzerland would be about $13,000 for the procedure, and then there would be travel costs, and related fees. All in all, with the living expenses I need to wait until I was approved, about $25,000. That could be the cheapest $25,000 somebody might ever spend.

“They need to give me free food and housing! They’re forcing me to die!”
“So your choice is homelessness or death?”
“Yes!”
“Okay. Mine is homelessness and death or death.”
“…”
“So you want me to be forced into homelessness and death because you choose homelessness?”
And if you think it’s so freaking easy, and you don’t wanna send me money for Switzerland, feel free to spam me with GPS coordinates of places you think I should visit. With great views. Easily accessible. And no one to traumatize. For the bucket list.

Also, if you really are so compassionate, as to think someone should DIY or just go to Switzerland, then feel free to send me money for Switzerland. We should certainly be able to crowd fund for things like this, but it’s against their terms of service.
It is also ableist and an affront to poor people. An able bodied person can walk in the forest until they find a tree or drive through national parks for days until they find a cliff. And rich people just go to Swizerland. You’re telling disabled poor people to suffer.
Shoutout to George H W Bush’s doctor who saw me in 2011, diagnosed me with mitochondrial disease among other things, and told me with flat affect I’d be dead by 40. You were right. I’m 39. 🎉
I’ve gotten so creative as to consider tying a bunch of helium balloons to a plastic lawn chair, strapping myself in, and jumping once I’m high enough.
Why don’t I? Because I’m in a flight path. But that’s how hard I’ve thought about it.
People say that if you’re in pain, it’s so easy to leave it. It’s really not. Reply with any method, and I will tell you why it failed, or why I can’t. I can’t legally access a gun. Or logistically.
I’ve experienced extreme, the most you can possibly imagine, pain, since June 8. And pain that would’ve broken a special forces officer since 2009 before that. I’ve had my heart shredded. Been emotionally eviscerated. But I haven’t experienced a second of self hatred since 18.
And I am the ultimate arbiter of my own morality. I know that no matter what happens in my life, when I die, I’m not going to feel guilty for anybody. If I meet “God” on the other side, 1/2+
@playerslight1@yuanyi_z This is so very true. People are wailing about their own emotional weakness like it’s a flex. This is about people’s actual physical suffering. How can they stand to admit how pathetic they are in public? Just say no! It is not hard, at all.
What is the real threat you actually face? How much do you really care about your opinion, when punching down becomes a liability, instead of a way for you to virtue signal about socialism, or practice sadism under the guise of religion?
I love Canadians. But Canadians and British people are way, way, way weaker than Americans. America needs MAID because so many young people are sick and getting sick with progressive conditions. You think 1 million Americans who feel like I do are going to just suffer?
What’s better? Three years of excruciating pain on the streets? Or three years in a nice safe little prison? After having live streamed your most important opinion with the help of a paid activist? This is very, very simple, America.
